Using this site

upsecure.us is operated by UpSecure. By using the site, the free checkups, the chat assistant, the voice assistant, or our text messages, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use them.

The free checkup

The checkup reads publicly available DNS and TLS certificate records for a domain you enter. It is provided as-is, for information only. It is not a security audit, a penetration test, or a guarantee that a domain is secure — it cannot see inside your accounts, devices, or mailboxes, and a clean result does not mean you have no problems.

Only run checkups on domains you own or are authorized to assess. Don't use the tool to probe systems that aren't yours, and don't automate or scrape it.

The chat and voice assistants

Both assistants are AI. They give general guidance, not professional advice tailored to your situation, and they can be wrong. They are not an emergency service. If you are dealing with an active security incident, fraud, or a crime, contact your bank, your provider, or the appropriate authorities — and reach a human at info@upsecure.us.

Don't share passwords, recovery codes, card numbers, or account numbers with them. We will never ask for those. Voice calls are recorded and transcribed so a person can follow up; see our privacy policy.

Text messages

Texts are optional and only sent if you opt in with a mobile number. We use them to confirm and remind you about consultations and to follow up on requests you started — not for marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Bookings

The introductory call is free and carries no obligation. Please reschedule or cancel through the link in your confirmation email if you can't make it. We may need to reschedule occasionally, and we'll give you as much notice as we can. Repeated no-shows may mean we stop offering new times.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to break the law, to attack or probe systems you don't own, to submit someone else's personal information without their permission, or to abuse the forms and assistants with automated traffic. We rate-limit these tools and may block access that looks abusive.

Our content

The text, design, and code on this site belong to UpSecure. The security tips are yours to use and share freely — that's the point of them. Please don't copy the site wholesale or pass our work off as your own.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The free tools on this site are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, UpSecure is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or its free tools. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Paid consulting engagements are governed by the written agreement for that work, which takes precedence over this page.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which UpSecure operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
